New Condo Projects coming to Hamilton

In 1996 Canlight turned Hamilton’s first and most impressive skyscraper, The Pigott Heritage Building, into a successful condominium. Canlight created a condominium corporation comprising 110 suites and then converted all of those suites from rentals to home-owners. Sales of suites set a new record place at that time and sold out within the first 12 months. Investors received a return on investment significantly higher than projected.

Now Vernon Shaw, Founder of Canlight, returns to Hamilton with plans to add 175 condo units to the city’s housing stock with two new projects worth a combined $50 million.
