Administrator/Bookkeeper – Non-Profit/Co-Op, Toronto, ON

Are you looking for an interesting and challenging career opportunity? We are a dynamic mid-market real estate management firm looking for a qualified Administrator/Bookkeeper. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with initiative and willing to learn and grow. You bring positive energy and enthusiasm and have a good understanding of Non-Profit/Co-Op. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the property management industry.

You will be stationed for 2 days at a Co-Op property in downtown Toronto.


It is the responsibility of the Administrator/Bookkeeper to:

  • Work effectively to promote the Company’s vision
  • Be a team player, utilizing skills and resources available through the Company to complete tasks on time
  • Work to promote a positive work environment through helpful and thoughtful interaction with boards, members & management
  • Be organized, results oriented, calm under pressure, self-starter & multitasker

Day to day responsibilities for the Co-Op include:

  • Front desk reception duties;
  • Collection of rents;
  • Bank deposits;
  • Addressing tenants’ inquiries
  • Maintaining the property management software database (data input);
  • Input work orders
  • Program the electronic fobs and intercom system
  • Entering accounts payable;
  • Any other bookkeeping functions as required;


  • Degree or Diploma in Accounting or Business equivalent
  • 3 Years working experience in Condo, Non-Profit/Co-Op and rental accounting is a must
  • Experience with Yardi Voyager is a must
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel knowledge is key)
  • Experience with Government subsidy (RGI) and reporting is required
  • Solid understanding of accounting concepts and principles
  • Well organized with ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal skills
